International Women’s Day
Hello dear all, We students from ILC Sarband created this blog. This blog is devoted to the 8th of March International Women’s Day.International Women’s Day March 8 is a day of international solidarity of woman. This holiday has also a long history. In 1910 an International conference of women socialists decided to celebrate International Women’s Day every year. In Tajikistan as in other countries women have equal rights with men. Women are very active in industry, agriculture and cultural life. In all countries of the world women celebrate the 8th of March as a day of solidarity in the struggle for peace. As our president Emomaly Sharipovich Rahkmonov said:
“Any country or society which does not respect and honor women they have no future”.
All Tajik students call International Women’s Day “Mothers Holiday”. This day is celebrated both at home and at school/ Schoolchildren prepare for their mothers and teachers presents made wit their hands. Concerts are organized both for teachers and parents. Students wish success and happiness to them.
This year we also will celebrate this day with different activities.We will post our plant here in our blog.

Here are the activities and our plan which students from school#1 town Sarband.
Activities devoted to the 8th of March.
8th of March is International Women’s Day. My students and my ILC is going to celebrate this even too. There some activities that we should do.
• Interviewing an active woman in our community. Students will ask questions about the role of women in our community.
• Students in English club will write essay about “Women and Democracy” The essays will be submitted in this www.risol.tj. And making presentation about Mothers’ Day.
• Youth Leadership Club will visiting and congratulate the teacher in retirement who spent her life in Education sphere teaching children.
• Crafting in the 5th A grades. Making Pop Up Flower Garden for their mothers and teachers at school. http://www.enchantedlearning.com/crafts/cards/flowerpopup/
• Youth leadership Club students will assist women teachers at the lesson or conduct their lessons from the 1st f March till 7th
• Art and Photographers will make a poster devoted to the 8th of March.
• Young Journalistic Club will write all these events I the blog which they will create.
