Exchange Postcards

 This month  in English club we had one activity . Making New Year cards and exchange it between each other. One of the  traditions  in New is giving gifits and new year cards.cards2

New Year 2009

First we prepare and for night New Year. We cook many foods for celebrate our New Year. In our places winter is not cold. We celebrate our New Year in 31st of December. At night we go to New Years tree which is in the center of our town. Many people come there and see off the old year. You can see salutes and fireworks. And many happy faces. We wait till 12 o’clock time. When the clock strike 12 and we make a dream we wish  each other to see next year if you want to say in Tajik Happy New year  you can say “Soly navaton muborak” and we come home and eat our food. In this night we watch TV- as  at night  there are so many interesting programs on TV and we dance around our New Year tree. Around our New

                              Year tree we sing many songs.             

                                                                                    This   holiday is popular among  children.Our children will wait because they want receive gifts from their parents.   

We cook many our national foods for example: Osh, mantu, oshi burida, homshurbo, and shakarob.

Drinks: Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprit, Buratino, Shambari, Obi Zulol. And we cook different cakes, we make many salads.

 

 New Year. The 2008 year is going and I can imagine many events happened with people in this year. Some had happiness, some had sorrow. Such is life. And i want to write my new year wishes to my students and all.I wsh you health, happiness. success in everyhting and many many days filled with joy and love. Let the old year take away all problems and let all your dreams come true like in fairy tale. Yesterday i was in Dushanbe and near the Circus there i saw a big snow man and i took photo of it . It is for you. Happy New Year!!!
