Folk Tale project

Here are some tales which we submitted to folk tales project.
The prince and the image of the lion.
Once there lived a king. He had one son. One day he had a dream that his son was killed by a lion. The king was afraid of his dream. In one of the far places he built a palace for his son. The walls of that palace were decorated with many different images. Among the other images there was an image of the lion. The prince was sad and lonely in that palace. One day he stood near the image of the lion and said:” Hey, one of the terrible animals, because of one unfair dream I am here very sad and lonely. Now I will solve this problem I will punish you .He said this and went toward one tree. He wanted to take one stick there and destroy the image. Accidentally that tree had thorn and one of the thorns got into the hand of prince. As The result of that poisonous thorn make the prince sick and healthy. And after some days the prince died.
One cannot run away from trouble and one should wait it bravely.

A bear and two friends.

Two men were friends .They had a trip. A long way the spent on the way. Suddenly they met a bear. The bear attached them. One the man climbed up to the tree and hid himself there. And the second man lay on the ground. When the bear came near the man it smelled his head and thought he is dead. And then he went away. They say a bear doesn’t touch dead man. When the bear was out of sight another man climbed down from the tree and went near the second man and asked him in joke:” What did the bear said you in your ear?” The second man answered. –The bear gave a good advice. Those who leave in trouble their friends they don’t deserve a friendship”

Two sisters and two dreams
There was a man who had two daughters. They both got married. One is the wife of one gardener and another was the wife of bricklayer. Once the man decided to visit his first daughter. The man asked the life of his daughter. The daughter said: “All is fine. My husband loves me and I love him too.I have only one dream. I wish it was much rain as our gardens are thirsty. The next day the man went to visit his second daughter. After he found out about her life he heard this answer. All is fine. I have no any dreams except only one. I want that the weather become dry and the sun always shine that our bricks become dry. The father said: Your sister wants rain and you want dry weather. I don’t know for whom of you to pray?!

A blind woman and doctor
A middle-aged woman was very sad because of her blindness. She heard there was a man who can cure eyes. She sent her servants after him. That man came and in front of the servants he said that if he cure the eyes he will have right to get money for his work. If he cannot cure he will not ask anything. So the doctor and the woman make an agreement.
Every day that man came and cured that woman. And in every of his visit he stole something from the house. When the man stole everything he cured the eyes of that woman. Now you can see so it is better you give me money for my work. The woman replied: My eyes are not better I can’t see anything. Due to our agreement I am not obliged to pay you. The man asked for help the local judge. The judge invited the woman. The woman answered: This man tells the truth. We had agreement and I am faithful to my agreement. I can see now but before I was blind I had many expensive and valuable things in my house. And if I am really can see but then why I can’t see all that things in my house.

The goat and the shepherd

One day a shepherd was looking after the goats in the meadow. Suddenly one of the goats went far. And the shepherd whispered to that goat. Then he picked up one stone and threw it towards the goat. Accidentally it hit the horn of the goat. The horn broke and bled. The shepherd asked the goat that it didn’t tell about that accident to master. The goat answered: Hey silly shepherd don’t you think that if I am silent my horn will witness.
To hide something from somebody that cannot be hide it is unnecessary for mind.
The fly and the lion.

One day one fly said to the lion that he is very stronger than he. The fly said:» Your strength is only in your claws. You are like women when fight you scratch with your claws. And with your teeth you tear them.» I am stronger than you and if you don’t believe let’s fight and you will see said the fly. After these words the fly got into the lion’s ear and bit him. The lion cried loudly and with his claws he scratched his ear and injured it. In such way the fly got victory over the lion and happily he left lion.
After some time the fly was caught on the spiders net. And at the last moment of his life he said: “Oh , dear me, I got the victory over the strongest animal and I hurt poor lion but now I will die from the hands of spider the unnoticeable insect.

The village and town mouse
There were two mouse friends. One mouse lived in the village and another lived in town. One day town mouse decided to visit his friend in the village. The village mouse was glad to see his friend. The village mouse lived in the field deep in the ground. They got into the house and sat on the ground. The village mouse brought the root of some plants and he started to eat with great appetite. The town mouse was upset to see his friend’s life condition and offered him to live in town. His friend agreed and they both went to town. The town mouse came one house and showed to his friend a lot of food such as: bread, wheat, barley, and cheese. The village mouse was so happy to see lots of food on the table and from other side he became a little sad and thought about his life how he lives poorly. They started to eat suddenly a man opened the gate of the house and two mice were so afraid and ran away to one hole and got into it with difficulty. Then the man went away from house the mice got from the hole and they breathed well and calm down a little and started to eat when suddenly another man came near the table and took one thing from the table. The mice were scared to death and hid under the table. The man went away. The village mouse was very hungry and tired. He said to his friend: You brought so many tasty things near me but eat it yourself. As for me I like my village and my house and most of all the roots of plants because there is no danger for me. But here danger lost my appetite.
